All Instruments & Levels

Whether you play guitar, piano, strings, winds, or voice, the planner is designed to support students, adult learners, working players, and teachers.

Why This Practice Planner?

As a working teacher and musician, I kept seeing the same pattern. Players were practicing hard, but there was no simple way to connect their daily work to real progress. Performers were always racing toward the next gig, while long-term skills and musical understanding were left to chance.

This planner solves that problem. It pulls your goals, practice notes, gig planning, and theory reference into one organized place so you can stop chasing loose pages and start building a clear, repeatable practice routine that actually moves you forward.

Built by a Teacher

Created from real lessons and rehearsals to match how musicians actually practice, review, and prepare for performances.

Complete Practice System

Daily, weekly, and monthly pages guide you through planning, reflection, and adjustment so your practice stays intentional.

Integrated Theory Reference

Key signatures, Circle of Fifths, chord and scale charts, rhythm and interval guides, and much more are inside the planner.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the S.O.U.N.D. Framework?

The S.O.U.N.D. framework is a system used to help you shape clear, musical goals that drive meaningful practice. It keeps your practice focused and effective so you are not guessing what to work on next.

The acronym stands for:

  • Simple – focus on one clear task at a time.
  • Observable – the result is something you can hear or see change.
  • Useful – the goal supports real musical growth.
  • Natural – the goal fits your personal style and direction.
  • Dated – there is a set time for review or completion.
What’s the difference between the Tablet, Paperback, and Hardcover editions?

The content is the same across all editions. The difference is how you use it.

About Brent Robitaille

Brent Robitaille is a Canadian composer, educator, and the founder of Kalymi Music Publishing. After years of teaching musicians of all ages, he noticed the same issue repeating: players were putting in the effort, but without a clear system to guide their progress.

He has written more than fifty music books, and his work appears in print, recordings, and performance. His teaching combines practical skill-building with the real demands of rehearsals, gigs, and long-term projects. This planner grew directly from that experience so that musicians have one structured place to plan, practice, and track their growth.
