FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BOLTON, Ontario, July 16, 2026 — Kalymi Music has launched the Kalymi Music Library, a centralized collection of free reference guides, printable charts, downloadable PDFs, tabs, backing tracks, Learning Paths, and companion resources for musicians.

Created by Canadian music educator, author, and publisher Brent C. Robitaille, the online library brings together practical resources for guitar, ukulele, mandolin, mandola, violin and fiddle, cigar box guitar, looper guitar, and open tunings.

The launch follows the publication of several major free reference pages during June and July 2026, including complete guides to Open D and Open G guitar tuning, guitar chord and scale charts, ukulele chord and technique resources, mandola chords, and a growing collection of violin and fiddle tabs.

“Musicians often have useful charts, videos, and downloads scattered across dozens of pages and platforms,” said Robitaille, founder of Kalymi Music. “The Kalymi Music Library gives players, students, and teachers one clear place to find practical material they can use immediately, while also showing them where to go next.”

A Single Home for Free Music Resources

The Kalymi Music Library distinguishes between complete resource hubs and quick-reference charts. The Open D Guitar Tuning and Open G Guitar Tuning hubs, for example, combine tuning instructions, chord diagrams, scales, blues ideas, progressions, backing tracks, and downloadable materials.

Focused reference pages provide printable guitar chords, guitar scales, ukulele chords, and mandola chords.

A growing Violin and Fiddle Tabs section offers free traditional, Celtic, classical, and holiday melodies in an accessible tablature format. The new Ukulele Technique hub adds guided exercises, practice routines, troubleshooting advice, graded pieces, and a free starter workbook.

The library’s Featured Downloads section gathers resources from across the Kalymi Music website and identifies how each one is accessed. Materials are clearly labelled as instant PDFs, free resources delivered by email, or references that can be viewed online.

Current resources include Open D and Open G chord charts, a DADGAD chord reference, a guitar scale guide, ukulele technique exercises, violin and fiddle tabs, a cigar box guitar roots-blues lesson, and a guitar looper pedal checklist.

References and Structured Learning

The Library also connects musicians with the Kalymi Music Learning Paths. While a reference page helps a player quickly find a chord, scale, tab, or tuning, a Learning Path organizes lessons, books, videos, downloads, and practice materials into a recommended sequence.

This distinction allows visitors to choose between finding an immediate answer and following a longer course of study.

“The goal is not simply to collect more material,” Robitaille said. “It is to organize useful information so musicians can find an answer, understand it, and turn it into something they can play.”

The Kalymi Music Library will continue to expand as new reference hubs, lessons, book-companion materials, charts, tabs, and practice resources are published.
